Battle of Basing 2010

We have received some photo's of the Battle of Basing, which took place during the August Bank Holiday weekend.

I took at lot of photos but it is difficult to capture the atmosphere and
the action as there was so much going on and most of it at some speed. This
photo taken near the end of the battle however does capture the moment in my
view.

Over all I was pretty impressed with the event and its organisation. It must
have been a mammoth exercise to plan and it was a credit to all those
involved. The most memorable event for me at Basing House since the
night-time Love Loyalty many years ago.
