At a special meeting of the Old Basing & District Royal British Legion Club Ltd, held on Friday, 28 September 2007, a majority of members present voted in favour of adding the words "Social Club" to the Old Basing Royal British Legion title. This unique facility in the village of Old Basing is there for all and new members will be made very welcome. It is a Social Club.
