Neighbourhood Panel meeting

There was a 'Neighbourhood Panel Meeting' Old Basing Infant School on the 20th July.   There was a disappointing turnout despite posters and communications to and from various agency's throughout the village.   PC Tracey Read accompanied PCSO Sarah Danks introduced the group objectives to start an action group 'Parking Action group'.  A chairman, vice chair and team were appointed to address issues to put forward to Hampshire County Council and or B&DBC. The first such meeting scheduled in September to voice concerns of the village.

 Trading Standards presented the first scheme for Old Basing called 'NO COLD CALLING ZONE' which we will see more of in the future for both Old Basing and Lychpit to specifically address, in the first instance, vulnerable residents.   Neighbourhood Watch scheme members will have particular interest in setting up similar activity.
