Grandmother Linda Hilson in training for the London Marathon which she is running to raise funds for Children with Leukaemia

A grandmother from Old Basing is in training for the London Marathon this year. The grandmother of five, from Manor Lane, Old Basing, ran the 26.3 miles across London last year in just under six hours - despite the sweltering 21C heat.

Mrs Hilson, 59, will run for Children with Leukaemia, a national charity that funds research and welfare programmes for people affected by the disease.
