I have had an update from the organisers of two of the Christmas events held in the parish over the last couple of weeks.
Susan Balls reports
"I am pleased to be able to say that we did make more money than last year - total of approx £1650 profit. The event was a great success and we would like to thank everyone that supported it. The main attraction, as ever, is the grotto. Lots of time, effort and imagination goes into our grotto each year and the feed back we receive is great."
An insider tells me
"This year the St Mary's Christmas Bazaar made about £1,700, which was a little down on last year."
