Join Old Basing Scout Hut Renewables
Please Vote for Old Basing Scout Hut in the Energyshare Scheme
This will cost you nothing and take only a few minutes.
The Energyshare sceheme was formed by River Cottage (Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall) and British Gas to promote community renewable energy projects.
Our village community of Old Basing and Lychpit has bit for £60k towards our new "Baden Powell Centre" for the local Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies, Beavers and Rainbows. We are entitled to bid because we plan to include renewable energy in our building.
We will only "win" this funding if enough supporters "vote" for our scheme. In order to have a chance of getting the funding we need to get more than 250 supporters to register on this website before 30 June 2011: www.energyshare.com/scout-hut
