SOLVE

Your Chance To Question Politicians On Plans To Build 9000 homes
and Hold Local Councillors to Account.

What:
Please join us at a 'Town Hall Husting' at which we have invited all the Candidates standing for election as Borough Councillor to attend and answer your questions on their policies and plans for development in Basing & Lychpit and Chineham.

Why:
There are local elections on May 5th to elect a Borough Councillor each for Basing & Lychpit and Chineham. Ultimately it is these Councillors who will vote on plans to build up to 9000 homes on land adjacent to Basing, Lychpit and Chineham. Some Councillors and Parties elsewhere in Basingstoke have voted previously to support large scale development on this scale elsewhere in the Borough.

It is critical that we elect Borough Councillors for our wards that will join our other local Councillors in assertively opposing any attempts to build developments of this scale in and around the Loddon Valley.

This is your chance to find out what the Candidates views are, what their Party views are, and to question them specifically on how they will manage and vote on this issue.

Where & When:

Please join us at these events. SOLVE continues to command the attention and respect of BDBC Councillors and Officers, primarily because we have such strong participation and turnout at meetings like this.

If we don't support events like this, our voice and our influence will be compromised.
