The Basinga Magazine will accept articles, letters and diary dates entries from residents and non-residents of the Parish which will be of interest to people living in the Parish. The Basinga does not guarantee to include an article in any particular issue and reserves the right to edit articles to suit the space available.
Articles should be non-commercial in content and whilst e.g. it is permitted within an write-up to refer to a forthcoming paid event the advertising of admission charges etc is not permitted. Such advertising should use the Classified Ads Selection. It is recommended that reference is made to a copy of the Basinga to review the type of article accepted.
Submissions can be made directly to the Editor and can be handwritten (legible
please) or typed hardcopy or word processed on disk using MS Word. A hard copy
must be forwarded with the disk. Alternately the following form can be completed
for submission.
Note: Articles submitted directly to the Editor must include your Name, Address
and Telephone Number.
You can submit your article on-line by clicking here.
Letters to the Editor will be accepted at the discretion of the Editor that are of interest to the Parish. Whilst replies to letters published are welcomed it should be bourne in mind that the Basinga is not the forum to offend members of the community and as such the right of reply will depend on the content and if there are recurring replies on the same subject it may be terminated.

You may also submit an entry to the “diary dates” page. This is a short one-line description of your event, including the date, time and venue of the event. See the Basinga "diary dates" page for more information.
