Guidance Notes

We have provided the following notes for your guidance and to give you some ideas.

The photo depicting "old" does not necessarily have to be taken many years ago.  It could be a modern photograph of something that is old.

The two photos for each entry should be arranged in an A4 format (either portrait or landscape) maximum with a descriptive couple of lines of text to link the two photos as “Old Basing and Lychpit, Past and Present”.

Layout Suggestions

Each entry should consist of a single sheet of A4 which contains two photographs and some text linking them.  Here are three examples of acceptable file formats:

To be continued:

Possible ideas for a subject could include:

Your entries can then be:

Remember:  Nothing larger than A4 format will be acceptable.

Entries will be on display in Chineham Library and the display will be updated regularly, so make your entries early.  Entries will also be on view in the north aisle of St Mary’s Church during the whole of August.

Our Judges this year are three local, highly respected photographers.
