Presentations

	Charlotte Mathews is presented with her first prize by Councillor Elaine Still and Irene Allaway (Basinga editor) on Saturday 25th April at the Lychpit Spring Fair.  Her picture is "The Pony on Old Basing Common" .
	Aiden Sakakini is presented with his second prize, for his picture "Forest in the Sun".
	Anna MacDonnald received her third prize for her painting "Festival Place" on Sunday 27th April.
	Sally Holmes is presented with her first prize, for her picture "After the Rain".
	Iris Machin is presented with her second prize, for her picture "Ruins of Old Basing House".
	Christine Ashworth is presented with her third prize, for her picture " Down by the Scout Hut" on Tuesday 13th May.

Results

On Tuesday 8th of April the Basinga committee cast their votes to select a winner, runner-up and third in each section.  The results were a follows:

On Wednesday 5th of March our judge, Brenda Chapman, selected the finalists from the Junior and Adult sections, and these are as follows:

The judge commented that the overall standard was very high, and had a very difficult time in making her choice.  The Basinga committee will now choose the winners at the next meeting early in April.

We received a grand total of 43 entries.    Which was 32 Adult and 11 Junior.
