We moved to Little Basing 4 1/2 years ago and quickly realized that the easiest way to give directions was to say "Do you know where Betty Holmes lives?" - EVERYONE did - followed by "Well we're in the new house next door". Many people knew Betty for 60, 40, 30 years. we were privileged to have known her for just a short time.
